Driven by her personal experiences navigating the public school system, Jennifer works tirelessly to change the trajectory of young people’s lives through education; particularly students of color. Most recently Jennifer was the Senior Director of Partnerships at Equal Opportunity Schools (EOS), coaching district and school leaders across the country in desegregating Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate classes. Currently, she is the Chief Operating Officer at Rainier Scholars, Tacoma— an intensive college prep program for low-income students of color from 5th grade through college completion.
Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human-Centered Design and Engineering, as well as a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, both from the University of Washington. When she’s not saving the world with Rainier Scholars, she loves listening to 90’s R&B, hot yoga, and impromptu dance battles with friends.
