Dieu began and spent most of her career working at various insurance and financial companies but ultimately decided to take a different path after volunteering with various nonprofit organizations supporting children and youth and advocating for the educational needs of students from marginalized communities. Dieu has been an active member of Mercer Middle School’s PTSA for several years and most recently managed the front office at Aki Kurose Middle School. She is passionate about the mission of CISS and knowing her role has a direct impact on students’ lives makes her enjoy what she does to the fullest.
Dieu was born in Vietnam and raised in South Seattle, WA. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time backpacking, camping, hiking, taking adventures with her family, and volunteering at local organizations.
