Alison is a third year Evening MBA student at the University of Washington and will serve as a Board Fellow for Communities in Schools (CIS) of Seattle for the 2021-2022 school year. As someone who struggled in the public school system herself, Alison is passionate about CIS’ mission to help the youth in our community stay in school.

Alison was born in Singapore and moved to Washington state in early elementary school. Most of her childhood was spent growing up and moving around the Greater Seattle Area. She eventually moved to Bellingham to attend Western Washington University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management. Currently, Alison works as a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Public Cloud at Salesforce.

During her free time, Alison enjoys spending time with her family and trying new outdoor activities. She recently tried surfing this past year and has been snowboarding for the last couple seasons. Her favorite dessert is dark chocolate truffles, her favorite food is ramen, and her favorite drink is an iced mocha.
