2019 Q1 Donor Impact Newsletter

We’re so grateful to have supporters like you.
During the 2017-2018 school year, we helped 3,150 Seattle students at 10 schools achieve their goals. Of those students, 297 received intensive case management and:

88% graduated or were promoted to the next grade
97% improved their behavior
85% improved their academics
66% improved their attendance rates
Without your support, we would not have been able to provide these students with the one on one attention they needed.

This fall, thanks to the generosity of members of the community and corporate partners, site coordinators were able to provide Thanksgiving meals to nearly 200 families throughout south Seattle. A special thanks to Red Apple in Beacon Hill, Saar’s in White Center and Comcast for their support.

As students returned to school after winter break this month, a new crop of needs arose.

Students who hit a growth spurt came to their school’s CIS closet to find warm layers, families sought guidance and assistance navigating housing resources and site coordinators began planning for second semester after school activities.

All of this is possible because of your support!
